About Me

I am a Latina sports reporter enthusiast based in Chicago, Illinois who is about 1 hour away from city. I am a first generation college graduate who received my Associate of Arts (AS) at College of DuPage and my Bachelor of Science (BS) at University of Illinois Chicago.Previously I had interned for the Latino Cultural Center (LCC) as a digital marketing & social media intern at University of Illinois Chicago (UIC).I previously volunteered for the NAHJ Chicago Conference in July 2025 with the opportunity to network with Bilingual Sports Journalist Samantha Rivera (CBS Sports Miami)I am looking to work with future men’s and women’s sports teams in representing the Latino communities throughout Chicago as a sports reporter in broadcast coverage where I can showcase my talent and enthusiasm through the sports industry.Overall, in the future I hope I can make a name for a career in sports broadcasting to inspire more Latinas throughout Sports.
